THIS HAS BEEN SENT BY ONE OF MY FRIENDS. READ THIS. THIS IS TRUE!!!
This is scary and important, please read. This can happen at home and at work, everyone should be aware... already there are 3 people who have experienced this. A friend of mine received a telephone call from an individual identifying himself as an AT&T Service Technician that was running a test on our telephone lines. He stated that to complete the test we should touch nine (9), zero (0), pound sign (#) and hang up.
Luckily, they were suspicious and refused. Upon contacting the telephone company they were informed that by pushing 90# you end up giving the individual that called you access to your telephone line and allows them to place a long distance telephone call, with the charge appearing on your telephone bill. They were further informed that this scam has been originating from many of the local jails/prisons.
They have verified with Telephone company that this actually happens. When she called Security this morning and verified that this is definitely possible and DO NOT press 90# for ANYONE. It will give them access to your phone line to make long distances calls ANYWHERE!!! The GTE Security department told me to go ahead and share this information with EVERYONE I KNOW!!! Could you PLEASE pass this on? If you have mailing lists and/or newsletters from organizations you are connected with, I encourage you to include this information.
Something to do if you have sometime. Quite amazing.
This is really interesting & AMAZING!!!
This is pretty neat how it works out... some Chocolate Math!!!
DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It only takes 30 seconds.......
Work this out as you read.
Must be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's GOOD.
1) First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate. (Try for more than once but less than 10)
2) Multiply this number by 2. (Just to be bold)
3) Add 5. (for Sunday)
4) Multiply it by 50. (being a bit stupid)
I'll wait while you get the calculator...
5) If you have already had your birthday this year add 1750. If you haven't, add 1749.
6) Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. (If you remember)
7) You should have a three digit number.
The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week.)
The second two digits are your age.
THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2000) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS. IMPRESSIVE ISN'T IT?
